Avatar Seven Havens Release Date

Original franchise creators Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko return as executive producers. Avatar: Seven Havens will premiere Friday, Oct. 9, on Paramount+. Follows a young earthbender named Pavi the next Avatar after Korra a waterbender in a world fractured by a cataclysmic disaster where she is viewed as a destroyer rather than a savior. Pavi does, however, have some allies. During her adventures, she is joined by a cat monkey called Geet, her mentor and friend Jae, and a long-lost twin. She goes on a dangerous journey to uncover her mysterious origins and to save the Seven Havens before they collapse.

Avatar: Seven Havens is set in the world first introduced in Avatar: The Last Airbender. The world has become a very different place since The Legend of Korra. Portals between the human and spirit worlds have been opened, and Korra has lost her Avatar state that is, her connection to past Avatars. These changes have set up a whole new realm for Pavi, and fans can’t wait to see how everything unfolds! Comprises two seasons with 13 episodes each, totaling 26 half-hour episodes already finished and ready to go.

2D animation takes a massive amount of time to write, storyboard, and animate. Studios cannot wait for Season 1 ratings before starting Season 2 without causing a multi-year gap between seasons. There is a very strong chance that more episodes will come in the future. While nothing beyond the initial 26 episodes has been formally announced to the public yet, several signs point to the show continuing past Book 2. Although only 26 episodes are officially scheduled for the current rollout, Avatar Studios has already produced more than 30 episodes. This proves they are actively working on content that extends past the initial two-season order.

Industry reports and casting calls heavily suggest that Avatar Studios is quietly planning two additional seasons (Books 3 and 4), which would bring the total to 4 seasons—matching The Legend of Korra. When Paramount and Nickelodeon established Avatar Studios, the goal was to build a massive, multi-year pipeline of content. A flagship series like Seven Havens is designed to be a long-running anchor for Paramount+, meaning future renewals are highly likely as long as the show performs well. Series creators Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko are looking to shake things up with a new series “full of fantasy, mystery, and a whole new cast of amazing characters. Get ready to take another epic and emotional adventure
