NBA 2K27 Made Big Improvements Compared To NBA 2K26

NBA 2K27 delivers a massive step forward over NBA 2K26, bringing major upgrades to player customization, mode variety, and seamless performance. From introducing female MyPlayer builds in The City at an 85 overall to giving gamers total manual control over badge slots and attribute points, this year’s release puts player freedom front and center. Between seamless load-free transitions into the Gatorade Facility and an expanded 8-mode lineup in MyTeam, 2K27 feels faster and more complete than ever. While a few minor pre-game visual glitches still need polishing, the overall improvements make this entry a high-scoring upgrade.

MyPlayer Build

They added to where you canbuild a female player to use in the city that starts you off as a 85 overall and you can build a NBA Player to use in the Arena, City, And Multiplayer In 2K26 it was all male's players. 

MyPlayer Customization

They added where you can choose a elgible badge for each slot you can use and swap it out you can also upgrade that bage for higher boost. In 2K26 you couldnt choose a nadge it was'nt an available option the badge was selected by the computer and upgraded by it self has you play along.

The W

They added where you can start off at a 85 overall instead of just 80 you can also adjust the attributes to what you want. in 2K26 it didnt let you choose the attributes you wanted to upgrade but in 2K27 it lets you adjust to how you want the attributes.

MyTeam

They added several new game modes along triple threat, domination, and, breakout there is a total of 8 game modes i saw on MyTeam.

Game Speed

A huge difference im impressed with is the speed of the game because when entering the door that takes you from the arena to the gatorade training gatorade training facility in 2K26 there was a buffer like a loading screen that was seconds while in 2K27 i didnt spot any buffer with that.

Only 1 Thing Needs Fixing

Only one issue i noticed thats still the same that is when a game introduction starts before the players line up when the Ai players are getting ready there are times where it looks like they walk over and through them along with replays where it will show a part of the replay black like a person infront of the camera.
