🎬 My Ultimate MCU Watch Guide: From the Infinity Stones to Avengers: Doomsday
Starting Off With the Cosmic Heroes & Endgame
In Avengers: Infinity War, the Guardians team up with the Avengers all the way through Avengers: Endgame. After the past version of Gamora from a different timeline frees Nebula, the story seamlessly continues into Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. This is because the Gamora who leaves with the Guardians after Endgame isn't the original one who was killed by Thanos. Even though the Guardians of the Galaxy might not have a massive role in Avengers: Doomsday, I still highly recommend watching the first and second movies to truly understand their storyline. In the first Guardians, Ronan and Thanos have an intense meeting before Ronan battles the team, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is where we are introduced to Mantis. While they are missing from Doomsday, reports strongly hint that the Guardians—particularly Star-Lord, who is currently living on Earth—are being saved for a return in Avengers: Secret Wars instead.
The Early Avengers & The Infinity Stones
To understand how everything is tied together for Avengers: Endgame, I suggest starting with Captain America: The First Avenger. Next, watch Iron Man, Iron Man 2, and Thor to see how the Avengers were originally formed. After that, jump into Doctor Strange. These early origin stories are incredibly important because they cover three of the crucial Infinity Stones: the Space Stone (Captain America), the Power Stone (Guardians of the Galaxy), and the Time Stone (Doctor Strange).

The Cosmic Marvels & The Multiverse
The cosmic side of Earth's heroes connects beautifully across the timeline. You should watch Captain Marvel (which takes place back in the 1990s), and then fast-forward to the post-Endgame era for the Ms. Marvel series. At the end of that series, we see Captain Marvel suddenly swap places with Kamala Khan when they use their powers. The story then continues into the movie The Marvels, where they team up to find out exactly what is making their powers act up. From there, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is a must-watch to see how alternate realities work.
The Road to Avengers: Doomsday
Finally, watching The Fantastic Four: First Steps will be essential before Avengers: Doomsday. It will give us our first glimpse into Victor von Doom (Dr. Doom), his background, and his personality before he becomes a massive threat. Other major hero teams that are going to be heavily involved in this era alongside the Avengers and the Fantastic Four are the Thunderbolts and the X-Men!
